Children between the ages of one and three years can learn to respond to the word “no” and can understand the consequences of theur disobedience. This can apply to dangerous situations, tantrums, violence and more.
At this age they may not understand the logic and reasons behind the “no”, however they can understand that obeying your “no” brings good things and ignoring your “no” brings discomfort
